Evony has announced an upcoming server merger to improve the game environment. This update brings a mix of excitement and anticipation, as it will shift the current balance and reignite our collective enthusiasm. To prepare for this ‘second life’ in the game, we must understand the new rules and how they affect us.
Server Merger Overview
The alliance remains intact, but all alliance buildings will be removed. Players from both servers will be teleported to random locations on the new map.
Alliance & Territory
- Alliance City: If already completed, it can be rebuilt instantly for free. If it were unbuilt or under construction, it would still require time and resources.
- Warehouse: All donated and stored resources remain unchanged.
- Strategy: Log in immediately after the merger to secure a strategic position for alliance territory.
Subordinate Cities
- Owned Cities: All players keep their currently occupied sub-cities.
- Unoccupied Cities: Only unoccupied sub-cities from the higher-ranked SvS server will migrate; others will be removed.
Map & Resources
- Resets: Resource spots and monsters will be refreshed.
- Removals: All Relics and Bookmarks will be deleted.
- Troops: Any troops currently outside the city will automatically return.
Rankings & Titles
- Server Hierarchy: The server with the higher SvS rank becomes the Primary Server.
- Status: The Primary Server keeps its Empire name, King/Queen, and Titles. These are cleared for the Secondary Server.
- Events: Undead Event, Monarch Competition, and Temple Effects/data will be reset based on the Primary Server.
- Naming: Duplicate player or alliance names will be distinguished by adding a “1” or “2” suffix.
Personal Data
- Safe Data: Building levels, VIP status, Gems, Gold, Resources, Generals, and Items are fully preserved.
- Monarch Glory: Unlocked glory remains. However, players who qualified but didn’t unlock it must win the title twice more on the new server.
- Arch of Triumph: Data from both servers will be combined.
- Communication: World Chat history will be cleared.
