In Evony, enhancing your Dragons is a key strategy to strengthen your army. This guide covers three main ways to boost your Dragons’ power: feeding, refining, and awakening talents.
Feeding Dragons
Feeding Dragons is the primary way to increase their levels and attributes. A higher-level Dragon provides stronger buffs for both troops and Generals. There are various items you can use as Dragon food, including:
- Excellent Dragon Coin
- Gold
- Equipment Material
- Research Stone
- Source of Life
- Resources
- Refining Stones
- Badges
- Gems
- Revival Stones
- Medals, and more.
During the Super Feeding event, it’s more cost-effective to use Excellent Dragon Coins. Keep in mind that different Dragons require different amounts of experience points to level up. Dragons in the Pasture consume less food than the Sacred Dragons on Dragon Cliff. Players can feed their Dragons 30 times and refresh recipes up to 10 times per day to make the process smoother.
Refining Dragons
Refining Dragons helps add important attributes like Attack, HP, and Defense to ground, mounted, ranged, and siege troops. To refine a Dragon, use Gem and Refining Stone or Badge and Refining Stone. You can use Dragon Crystal to lock refining attributes.
Attributes change color based on their percentage:
- Purple: 50%–69%
- Orange: 70%–84%
- Gold: 85% and above
Players can obtain Refining Stones from various sources, such as the Black Market, event bosses, and in-game activities like the Battle of Chalons. Badges are obtainable from the Battle of Constantinople, Battle of Chalons, and packages. Dragon Crystals can be acquired from events like the Battle of Gaugamela and other in-game rewards.
Awakening Dragon Talents
Awakening a Dragon’s talents can significantly boost its power. Each Dragon or Sacred Dragon has three talents. The first two talents apply only to troops led by the General equipped with that Dragon. The third talent is an Active Talent. Players can use this talent in the “Active Skill” interface to gain a temporary buff, which has a cooldown period.
To upgrade a Dragon’s talents, you’ll need to use Gem, Dragon Crystal, and Dragon Source Fragment in the Pasture or Gem, Badge, and Dragon Source Fragment on the Dragon Cliff. The maximum talent level is Lv40, and carefully selecting and upgrading talents can greatly enhance your Dragons’ power in battles.
