The General Story of André Masséna
In 1799, to swiftly break the threat of the Second Coalition against France, the French commander André Masséna decided to lead 70,000 French troops in a final decisive battle against the 90,000-strong Russo-Austrian army stationed in Zurich.
With his exceptional military foresight, Masséna devised a brilliant strategy for defeating the enemy forces in detail. He divided the French army into several detachments, used the cover of night and river passages for surprise attacks on enemy positions, and personally led elite troops in a daring assault on the strategic point of Zurich Fortress. Masséna’s ingenious tactics rendered the numerical superiority of the Russo-Austrian forces ineffective, as the French army seized a commanding offensive position, forcing the enemy into a chaotic retreat.
After a day of fierce combat, the battlefield of Zurich ultimately became a site of victory for the French forces. This compelled Russia to withdraw from the Anti-French Coalition and cemented Masséna’s reputation across Europe.
Masséna won countless laurels for the French Empire, and his command was unparalleled in his time. Nicknamed the ‘Child of Victory’ by Emperor Napoleon, he is also regarded as one of the most outstanding generals of the Napoleonic Wars.

You can enter “The Legend of Napoleon” page and find the event, Imperial Lion, and participate in this event to get General André Masséna.
Use the Legion of Honour to recruit generals and items on the event page, and you will have a chance to receive the Glorious General Chest.
Open the chest, you can choose one general token from Historic General (André Masséna), Historic General (Kleos), Historic General (Alessandra), and Historic General (Eleanor).
You can obtain the Legion of Honour by purchasing the corresponding packages, gathering resources, and killing monsters.

Based on the skill description and the difficulty of acquiring and developing, we believe that André Masséna is more suitable to be an Assistant General. But his cavalry attack buff is also very high. If you can get enough general fragments to ascend him, you can also use him as a Main General.
