In Evony, generals with debuff attributes can equip Achaemenidae and Parthian gear. You can craft or upgrade these items in the Forge. Each set includes six equipment types: Helmet, Armor, Leg Armor, Boots, Ring, and Weapon (Bow, Spear, Axe, or Sword). Each part has unique basic attributes.
To maximize their effects, match these items with suitable generals. This guide will help you choose the best debuff equipment for each general type and show you how to obtain them.

- Courageous Helmet: Enemy Ground Troop Defense and HP -20%

How to Obtain Debuff Equipment
1. Achaemenidae
To craft Achaemenidae equipment, you need the corresponding equipment scrolls and Level 7 forging materials. Here’s where to find these items:
- Achaemenidae Scroll Chest:
- Boss Monsters (Level 13-19)
- Viking Challenge (Viking Berserker, Viking Chief, and King of the Vikings)
- Event Boss Monsters (e.g., Cerberus, Achelois)
- Packages:
- Final tier of Materials Sale Package
- Final tier of Festival Packages
- Maria Egg: Upgrade the Civilization Treasure – Faberge Egg in the Wonder to level 3. This allows you to collect Maria Egg by gathering resources at Level 15 spots or above.
2. Parthian
Parthian equipment is upgraded from Achaemenidae. Here’s the upgrade path:
- Helmet: Courageous Achaemenidae -> Dominant Parthian
- Armor: Fearless Achaemenidae -> Majestic Parthian
- Leg Armor: Courageous Achaemenidae -> Dominant Parthian
- Boots: Fearless Achaemenidae -> Majestic Parthian
- Ring: Fearless Achaemenidae -> Majestic Parthian
- Bow, Spear, Axe, and Sword: Achaemenidae -> Parthian versions
In addition to Level 7 materials, upgrading also requires the Forge Master Certificate. Here’s where to get it:
- Viking Challenge: Complete personal trials to earn Forge Master Certificates.
- Hard Viking (Levels 1-50): 10 Certificates
- Hell Viking (Levels 1-50): 20 Certificates
- Gather Troops Event: Complete quests for Forge Master Certificates.
- Packages: Available in festival event packages.
- Sulis Wishing Pool: Participate in the event to earn Sulis Treasure, which includes 200 Forge Master Certificates.
Forging Materials Needed for Equipment
- Helmet: Iron, Wood, Dragon Scale, Blue Stone
- Armor: Feather, Animal Bone, Leather, Purple Crystal
- Leg Armor: Dragon Scale, Iron, Feather, Silver Pearl
- Boots: Bronze, Leather, Meteorolite, Red Agate
- Ring: Dragon Scale, Blue Stone, Red Agate, Purple Crystal
- Weapon (Bow/Spear/Axe/Sword): Silver Pearl, Dragon Scale, Bronze, Wood
To obtain Level 7 materials, synthesize lower-level materials (Levels 1-6) or redeem Lv7 Material Optional Chests in the Alliance Boss Shop.
